Sell industrial surplus / Siemens

Sell surplus Siemens PLCs, HMIs and drives

Redundant stock from machine upgrades, factory clearances or spares rooms? Automation Outlet assesses Siemens industrial automation equipment for selective outright purchase, brokerage or managed resale.

Siemens parts we can assess

SIMATIC S7-300 / S7-400

CPUs, I/O cards, communication modules, racks, power supplies and suitable spare parts. Complete 6ES7 order numbers help.

SIMATIC HMIs

Comfort Panels and other identified SIMATIC operator interfaces. State screen condition, version and full 6AV number.

SINAMICS and legacy drives

Selected drives, modules and accessories. Send complete 6SL or relevant Siemens model codes and photographs.

Trade assessment, not a retail valuation. A new/sealed part with identifiable model and demand may justify a different offer from an untested used part. Motors, heavily modified cabinets and unknown-condition equipment may not be suitable for outright purchase.

What to send for a useful offer

  1. Clear photo of each Siemens rating label or part number.
  2. Quantity per code, condition (sealed new, used, untested or faulty) and any packaging.
  3. Known programme/parameter backup status for CPUs, drives and HMIs, if relevant.
  4. Collection town or postcode and whether items are boxed, palletised or still installed.
  5. Any realistic trade-price expectation, if you have one.

Choose the route that suits the stock

Outright trade purchase

For selected stock that makes commercial sense, AO may offer an agreed trade price. Payment follows delivery and inspection, normally within up to 10 working days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Seller-held consignment

For valuable specialist or slower-moving stock, the seller can retain ownership while AO markets it. Standard commission is 20% of net sale proceeds after agreed third-party costs, subject to individual terms.

Brokerage

Where it makes sense to connect a specific buyer with a seller, AO can qualify and negotiate the enquiry with agreed terms before a transaction.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy single Siemens modules?

Yes, individual modules can be considered. Small or low-demand items may be more suitable in a grouped lot.

Can I send just a spreadsheet?

Yes. Include part numbers and quantities first; photos and condition details can follow. Submit the inventory for assessment.

Are high online asking prices a guide to your offer?

Not necessarily. Trade offers account for achieved demand, condition, testing, sale time, fees, returns and risk. Consignment can be a different option when a trade offer is unsuitable.

Have surplus Siemens equipment?

Use the existing AO seller portal to send stock details and receive an enquiry reference; you can then send supporting photographs or spreadsheets. No guarantee of purchase is implied.
